The Good the Bad & the Ugly

I’ve been watching the Queens Platinum Jubilee celebrations on the television and what a show of pomp and ceremony that only the British can do!

It also brought back fond memories of when I took part in Trooping the Colour on more than one occasion in my younger years.

Not a lot of people know that…

Lots of happy times with the guys I served with throughout my Army career.

To see civilians (Like me now!) from all walks of life enjoying themselves put another smile on my face.

Street community parties.

Drone and laser shows, Prince Charles’s sense of humour and the integrity of the Queen and so much more

That’s the “GOOD!”

Then there’s the “BAD!”

More knife crime fatalities in London and more here in Australia.

What would you do if you were attacked?

The likelihood is high by the way.

Did you know…

The preferred weapon of the criminal is a knife.

I’m going to go through my suggested “Actions on” in other words how to protect yourself against an attacker wielding a knife in my next training article so keep your eyes peeled.

Lastly, the “UGLY!”

Any type of violence is ugly and is to be avoided at all costs.

However, you may not be able to avoid it so again keep your eyes peeled for my next blog.

That’s it for now.

Be careful out there.

P’S. Here is an interesting video clip based on the above:
